About the Role
At DeepSpin, you will support both the R&D and Business Team. As a working student in Engineering, you will be part of our rapidly growing team with 20h/week in a variety of tasks including:
Engineering:
Conduct electromagnetic measurements, characterizations and analysis
Assemble and build components for our MRI-prototype
Support troubleshooting of custom-built components and systems
Support procurement and sourcing of MRI-system components or lab equipment
Business (Finance and Strategy):
Facilitate monthly book closing and get a view into startup finances
Conduct research related to strategic questions
About you
Student of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a comparable course of study, preferably with residence in Berlin
Excellent communication skills and a proactive get-stuff-done attitude
First principles thinking when diagnosing problems and applying research to a commercial setting
Passion for impactful projects and for revolutionizing the healthcare market with us
Preferred: experience in a lab-like setting: designing, measuring and troubleshooting complex technical solutions
Preferred: basic knowledge of electronics and electromagnetism
