About the Role

At DeepSpin, you will be joining the experimental R&D team in the Berlin office. We are looking for highly driven and motivated Scientific Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

- To own end to end Software running the machine

- Responsible for post processing of hardware data and control of peripherals

- To obtain, visualise and interpret relevant data including unprocessed data; enabling them to continuously and holistically monitor the behaviour of the analytical methods and systems

-To act as a software evangelist within the company


About You

  • MSc degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar

  • Knowledge in Python and a minimum of 3 years experience in software development in a production environment, preferably in a technical/engineering industry

  • Experience with quality software process tools and methodologies, such as Git, CI/CD, and automated testing

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English 

  • Preferred: experience in controlling physics experiments and associated hardware

  • Preferred: expertise in signal processing of time-series data

  • Preferred: knowledge in NMR/MRI or electromagnetism
