About the Role
As Head of Product at DeepSpin, you will ensure that the MRI-system we are building meets the needs of our customers. However, this role is unique in so far that it not only includes conventional Product responsibilities, but also (agile) project management, as well as technical, clinical, and commercial aspects. Hence, it is ideally suited for candidates interested in and open to such broader exposure. In this role, you will work closely together with our CEO, CTO, clinical partners and our tech team. More specifically, your responsibilities are:
Drive execution of our product development plan and manage distinct 7-digit R&D-projects with clinical partners, through developing timelines, deliverables and resource allocation and monitoring progress in close alignment with our founders
Gather, understand and prioritize customer needs and translate them into corresponding product features and clear requirements for our MRI-system as well as our UI/UX
Prepare internal milestone and sprint reviews as well as progress reports for external funding bodies
Support commercialization preparation (e.g. attending conferences, creating marketing collateral) and creation of submission documents for our regulatory workstream
Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position DeepSpin in relation to them
Ideally you have:
Successfully completed studies in medicine, life science or engineering
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as start-ups, consulting or other innovative companies, ideally with exposure to the field of medical technology
Successfully defined and launched great products and exhibit high customer-empathy
Technical understanding and/or strong interest in MRI and A.I.
Experience with Medical Device development
Highly motivated self-starter who can establish a course of action with minimal guidance
Demonstrated time management, organizational skills, detail-orientation and a strong commitment to personal and organizational accountability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
